Jajim Vintage blanket rug 5.2 x 4.8 ft / 160 x 145 cm

Material: 100% handspun sheep wool
Colors: multicolored
Handwoven carpet / blanket of the Shasavan nomads from the Caucasus, circa 1950/60
 Jajim are produced in narrow strips of 30 - 50 cm width on horizontal looms. These sheets are then sewn together to obtain the desired width.
 
All our Jajim rugs are original vintage or antique. Minor signs of wear are part of the patina of old carpets. Repair points or usage are shown separately on the attached photos.
