Our collection of high quality modern rugs is made in Nepal by excellent artisans. In order to get stunning look, we specifically looked for old women in small villages who can still master the art of hand spinning. Hand spinning gives the wool a certain irregularity in the yarn thickness, which is what gives this rug its special look.
In this piece, the finest 70% matka silk from China was combined with 30% Tibetan wool.
The touch is soft and cozy thanks to the use of the finest materials. The carpet is approx. 1/2 inch / 12 mm high.
