Weaving Heritage & Structural Symmetrics of the Kheshti Garden Layout

In the Djoharian Collection, we present this hand-knotted Ghom carpet (also known as Qom or Qum) woven in the historic **Kheshti panel design** (often called the garden compartment layout). Each individual rectangular tile tells its own visual story, rendering detailed trees of life, weaving willows, cypresses, or floral paisley motifs. The meticulously balanced color spectrum of glowing ochre-gold, soft ivory, and deep blues grants this oriental carpet a vibrant yet architecturally tranquil presence.

Supreme, resilient Kork wool (premium lamb's wool) was chosen for the dense, low pile. Due to the exceptionally thin, tightly spun yarn, master weavers from Qum achieve an incredible sharpness of detail across the pure cotton warp, highlighting the complex miniatures within every panel.

Interior Design Tip for Elegant Floor Layouts: Boasting an exact proportion of 5.2 x 3.5 ft (159 x 108 cm), this unique artwork targets the popular 3x5 ft standard search format flawlessly. Its rich, non-directional compartment pattern makes this brand-new piece a marvelous centerpiece for your formal living room, introduces custom warmth to a fine bedroom, or serves as a highly prestigious welcome statement in a large entryway or hallway on hardwood, parquet, or tile flooring.

Care & Long-Term Maintenance: As a high-end natural fiber product, Kork wool is naturally stain-resistant and straightforward to clean; regular gentle vacuuming in the direction of the pile is sufficient. To guard the fibers against movement, a non-slip rug pad is recommended on smooth surfaces. Fully compatible with underfloor heating.
