Rare, fine carpet of the court manufactory of the Shah - AMOGHLI in Meshed.
The carpet dates back to 1940/50 and is in an exquisite state of preservation. The silk kilim on the edges - a trademark of Amoghli - is just as perfectly preserved as the original fringes. The carpet is full-pile and with an incredible wool and color quality, as you will find it among AMOGHLI only among the top qualities of old production.
The rug was made of the finest kurk wool on a cotton warp and weft. The knot density is approximately 640,000 knots per m².
