A rare Garus Bidjar with the authentic rustic structure of traditional village rugs. Featuring a rich red field and a classic blue border, this all-over floral design is a true collector's piece.

Materials & Provenance

Knotted around 1930-40, this antique Bidjar rug showcases the exceptional craftsmanship of the Garus region. A unique feature is its foundation, which uses both wool and cotton warps, providing a distinct texture and durability characteristic of the Djoharian Collection.

The rug retains its original side finishes. Consistent with its age, the pile shows areas of natural wear, resulting in a magnificent antique patina that enhances its vintage appeal and investment value.
